These guidelines help maintain a high-quality, trustworthy space for couples and vendors alike. Everyone must follow them to keep your profile live.

The short version

List your own work, at prices you'll honour, and answer the couples who call. Break that and we take your profile down. Everything below is the detail a moderator will quote back to you.

1. Eligibility

Your business must meet these basic requirements to list on LagnaPrasang.

  • You must be a legally operating business or registered sole proprietor in India.
  • You must offer services related to weddings, receptions, or celebratory events.
  • You must be able to serve clients in at least one city or region available on the platform.
  • Resellers, aggregators, or pure lead-generation businesses cannot list as vendors.

2. Profile quality

Your profile should clearly and honestly represent what you offer.

  • Use your own work or properly licensed photos. No stock images or someone else’s portfolio.
  • Package titles should describe the actual work, not just your brand name.
  • Be transparent about pricing. If it varies, mention it clearly.
  • Write descriptions in simple, honest language. Avoid keyword stuffing.
  • Accurately mention the cities and areas you can actually serve.

3. Accuracy and honesty

Misleading content is not permitted in any form.

  • Do not exaggerate your experience, portfolio size, or past customers.
  • Do not claim awards, certifications, or affiliations you do not hold.
  • Do not use photos of events you did not personally work on.
  • Keep your availability and pricing information up to date.
  • Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent a profile rejection or account suspension.

4. Enquiry handling

Responding to couples professionally and in a timely manner is expected.

  • Respond to enquiries honestly and in good faith.
  • Do not send unsolicited follow-ups or promotional messages to couples who contacted you.
  • Do not share consumer contact details with third parties.
  • Do not decline or ignore enquiries on the basis of caste, religion, community, or any other discriminatory grounds.

5. Reviews

Reviews must reflect genuine customer experiences.

  • Do not solicit fake reviews from friends, family, or paid services.
  • Do not pressure clients to remove or edit honest negative reviews.
  • Do not attempt to post reviews about your own business using a consumer account.
  • If you respond to a review, do so professionally and without targeting the reviewer personally.

6. Content standards

The following content is not permitted anywhere on the platform.

  • Hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content targeting any community.
  • Explicit or adult content.
  • Content that impersonates another vendor or person.
  • Spam, bulk promotional messages, or unsolicited advertising.
  • Content that violates any applicable Indian law.

7. Enforcement

We review profiles and user content regularly. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take the following actions:

  • Issue a warning and ask you to correct the issue.
  • Temporarily suspend your profile.
  • Permanently remove your profile and account.
  • In serious or repeated cases, we may act without prior notice.

8. Report a violation

If you believe a vendor is violating these guidelines, use the report button on their profile or write to us at [email protected]. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
