These terms govern your use of LagnaPrasang, a wedding vendor discovery platform operated by fdivlabs. By using the platform you agree to them.

The short version

We are a directory, not a booking agent. We take no commission, hold no money, and are not part of the contract between a couple and a vendor. When you find someone, you deal with them directly.

That cuts both ways: because we are not in the deal, we cannot arbitrate one that goes wrong — but we can and do remove a profile that breaks these terms or our guidelines.

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You need to be 18, you need the right to post what you post, and one person or business gets one account of each type.

We do not check that vendor profiles are accurate. Do your own due diligence before you book anyone or pay a deposit.

1. Who we are

LagnaPrasang is a wedding vendor discovery platform built and operated by fdivlabs, a technology business based in Gujarat, India. References to “we”, “our”, or “us” in these terms mean fdivlabs.

2. Acceptance & eligibility

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to create an account or use the planning tools. The platform is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may suspend or remove it.

By accessing or using LagnaPrasang — whether as a couple, family member, vendor, or general visitor — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the platform on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

3. What LagnaPrasang is

LagnaPrasang is a discovery platform. We help couples and families find and shortlist wedding vendors across categories and cities in India, and help vendors present their services to prospective clients. “The platform” in these terms means the LagnaPrasang website and our Android and iOS mobile apps.

We do not facilitate payments, bookings, or contracts between users and vendors. Any financial transaction, booking agreement, or service contract is made directly between the couple and the vendor, outside the platform and entirely at their own discretion. We are not a party to those arrangements and accept no responsibility for them. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how this affects refunds and cancellations.

4. Accounts

You can browse vendor profiles without an account. An account is required to use planning tools (checklist, budget planner, wishlist) and to send enquiries. You may register as a consumer (couple or family) or as a vendor (wedding business).

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • One person or business may hold one account of each type. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is not permitted.
  • You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. For couples and families

As a consumer account holder you may browse vendor profiles, save vendors to your wishlist, use the checklist and budget planner, and send enquiries to vendors. You agree to:

  • Contact vendors only with genuine interest in their services.
  • Not misrepresent your identity, event details, or budget when reaching out to vendors.
  • Not use the platform to harvest vendor contact details for commercial or marketing purposes.
  • Not submit false or misleading reviews.

6. For vendors

As a vendor you may create a business profile, publish packages, upload portfolio media, and receive enquiries from prospective clients. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information in your profile and packages — including your service area, pricing context, and availability.
  • Not publish packages for work you do not actually offer.
  • Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or client testimonials.
  • Respond to enquiries honestly and in good faith.
  • Comply with all applicable Indian laws in the course of providing your services.
  • Not use the platform to contact consumers for purposes unrelated to the enquiry they submitted.
  • If you record personal data about your clients in the vendor diary (such as name, phone, or email), confirm that you have the authority and any consent required to store it, and that you will handle it in compliance with applicable data-protection law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Vendor profiles go through an internal review before they are published. We reserve the right to reject, unpublish, or remove any profile that does not meet our standards, at our sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.

7. Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile text, photos, reviews, diary notes). By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

You are solely responsible for content you submit. You confirm that:

  • You own or have the right to use all content you upload, including photos.
  • Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Your content is accurate and not misleading.
  • Your content does not contain anything illegal, defamatory, or harmful.

We may remove content that violates these terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is otherwise inappropriate.

8. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform without our prior written consent.
  • Submit spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications through any platform feature.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt or damage the platform.
  • Impersonate any person, business, or entity.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
  • Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.

9. Intellectual property

All platform code, design, branding, and content produced by us (excluding user-submitted content) is owned by fdivlabs or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

The name “LagnaPrasang” and related marks are proprietary to fdivlabs. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers

LagnaPrasang is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

  • We do not verify the accuracy, completeness, or quality of vendor profiles. Couples should conduct their own due diligence before engaging any vendor.
  • We do not endorse any vendor on the platform.
  • We are not responsible for the outcome of any transaction, booking, or service agreement made between users and vendors.
  • We cannot guarantee that the platform will be available at all times or free from errors.

11. Liability & indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, fdivlabs and its team members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform — including losses arising from reliance on vendor profiles, disputes between users and vendors, or platform downtime.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. As the platform is currently free to use, this means our liability is limited to zero in most cases.

Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless fdivlabs and its team members from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: the content you submit; your use of the platform; your breach of these terms or any applicable law; or your dealings, communications, or agreements with other users or vendors made through or after using the platform.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. We will process the deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in conduct harmful to other users or the platform, or for any other reason at our discretion. We will attempt to give reasonable notice where practical. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before the termination date.

13. Governing law & general

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India.

Before initiating any formal dispute, we ask that you contact us first at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.

Changes to the service: We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the platform at any time, with or without notice.

General: These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and fdivlabs regarding the platform. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor of our business.
